This collection was created in April 2020 during the Shelter-in-Place period of the COVID-19 pandemic. Objects were choosen based on the the room they belong to. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness that can spread from person to person. The virus that cause COVID-19 is a novel coronavirus that was first identified during an investigation into an outbreak in Wuhan, China. Since its virality, COVID-19 has affected +2,000,000 people and counting. While +500,000 people have recovered, the virus has been the cause of +140,000 deaths.
Shelter-In-Place is to seek safety within the building one already occupies, rather than to evacuate the area or seek a community emergency shelter. During the peak of COVID-19 nearly all operations that  required public gatherings of more than 10 people were shut down until further notice. Including restaurants, bars, movie theaters, sporting events, schools, business offices, and much more.
